i’ve always postulated that the root cause of all my issues was my psoas muscle…
…which is a common enough thing that multiple devices are made to “release” it, but is uncommon enough that spellcheck doesn’t recognize the word “psoas” (pronounced ‘SO-as’). if i google any of my problems with the word “psoas” attached (i just paused to add it to the dictionary because i had one too many red squiggles here) it always comes back as a common cause for my limited movement or back pain or really anything. so i finally invested in the damn thing because i could get it on amazon (where it surprisingly dropped in price even further AFTER prime days) so i can return it if it doesn’t do its thing.
pre-trial
i was trying to load a video as i typed this (still just spinning) to see any last minutes tips or tricks before i impale myself on this abdominal claw…
…so let’s see where it takes us.
post first use
i have to admit it wasn’t nearly as bad as i feared, although when i stood up i could still kinda feel where it had been. i did finally get that video to load, which was way helpful courtesy of a man from the land down under, who also pointed out that there’s lot of guts about in this area so if anything seems TOO painful you might be pushing on, say, your appendix or something, so back off. as far as some dramatic “release” is concerned, that didn’t happen, but maybe multiple uses will help? putting more weight on it? playing fast and loose with my internals? guess we’ll see!
