too much of a good thing

so, after a week without weed gummies the shipment hit yesterday…

…and boy, did they hook me up. it’ll be months before i actually have to touch the stuff i paid for!

part of what came in was their “ultimate blend”, which has 50mg of thc – 40mg of delta 8, 9mg of delta 9, and 1mg of thcp. i had tried this before and it really hit me, but that was before this pretty much became a daily ritual for years, so i figured my tolerance my be a bit higher, as it were.

nope.

the website didn’t differentiate between the flavors being different effects as they are with the delta 8 or 9 gummies (blue raz is indica, strawberry hybrid, and mango sativa) but my experience last night says the same flavor codes apply. the website also said to expect it to last six to eight hours, but we’re at hour fourteen and still sailing. of course, to aid in sleep i also tossed down a 50mg cbd gummy so maybe it’s the combo platter that’s really hitting me. in the past the cbd ones never did squat on their own so i figured i’d mix and match since all this was free (i paid for two jars of detla 9, got two free, but crossed the threshold for the “free mystery pack” which contained a jar of ultimate blend, a jar of cbd muscle pain cream, and two ten bags of gummies – delta 9 mixed (but surprisingly color coded), and watermelon cbd).

as i’ve previously discussed, thc seems to mainly hit me by amping up my nerves, making it to where i’m hyper sensitive. wonderful during sex, for example – not so much when leg day pain meets injury issues. that’s why it’s almost 11am and i’m sitting inside typing this instead of being outside getting something done. but i’m about to do a temp check and see what we can salvage of the morning…
