socially distorted

well, scratch another one off the list…

i finally saw social distortion! there’s not a lot of bands in the “alt rock” genre i like but HAVEN’T seen. and most of the ones i haven’t i never will due to prominent folks in them being dead (nirvana, inxs) or them just being too pigheaded to reunite (dead kennedys, minor threat) or them just plain sucking now (red hot chili peppers).

but social d did not disappoint – kudos to my buddy craig for talking me into going, where they DID play mommy’s little monster but did NOT play ball and chain. couldn’t be happier – probably won’t see them again as to not ruin it.

now if only the police would reunite again like they did ten years ago when i was too broke to catch em…
