pod parenting

sounds like a shitty experiment in some high school class, don’t it?

but it’s not!

no, it’s the tail end of my summer! i didn’t realize it, but last year the os-man came back at the beginning of august, throwing my work and home schedule into a tail spin as now i had a kid to take care of while the ufc was at work…but this year he came back yesterday, so i just have today and tomorrow and then school kicks in monday!

not bad…

so today we had shit-tons of fun with healthy eating (he’s now into that!), movies, and running around san marcos in the rain, capped off with me getting to catch up on tyrant and him catching up on super smash brothers. i have found i’m pretty good at the parenting thing in short spurts like this…guess i woulda made a decent semi-dead-beat dad? oh well, shoulda, coulda, woulda…and woulda owned shane a grand! good thing in about five years or so that reverses back the other way, huh? now what to do with the money…
