some things from the nineties just will never die, i suppose…
…human barbie dolls, for example.
okay, so that one anna nicole broad did quite literally. but miss pamela anderson lee rock fill-in-the-blank? whole different story. she’s still got it, and i’ve got proof!
my wardrobe has gone through many phases over the years – and one of the more recent was the “babe phase”. not like trying to get the babes, just wearing them around on shirts. and the best bootleg babe shirts? the ones from dissizit – they did a celebrity series where i almost guarantee the celebrity babes did NOT get paid for this:
(and speaking of “still got it” while i was writing this miss copper broke out of the house to wander the neighborhood – twice. first time was god knows how long (i was on the phone with ME at the time) but the second was only a couple minutes AND i figured out how pretty quickly so that worked out okay – but who knew that was still an issue at her age?)
moving on…
so, i had one guy bid on the carmen, the angelina, and the heidi shirts – the first two just for the opening bid (twenty bucks, no reserve) and last one going for almost forty bucks…but as of this writing (three days after auction close) has yet to pay even though all his feedback glows about how fast he pays.
welcome to my world, right? and the bills this is supposed to cover are rapidly becoming due.
so the weird one was the pamela anderson one – bidding on hers (i started them all at twenty bucks) kicked in on day two of the five day auction, and closed at just under seventy bucks – just for hers…almost as much as the other three combined! say what you want, i guess she’s still got it – and i got almost a buck and half selling four shirts that new i paid about a buck for…so i wore ’em for a couple years and profited – assuming home douche pays me for the three he bid on and doesn’t flake. speaking of, i need to shoot him an email after i post this…
