lucky apple?

in reality, i’m procrastinating doing m’s brakes as i type this…

…but i’m also waiting for tadvenol and caffeine to kick in, so there’s that.

and let’s talk about that caffeine!

today’s a lower dose day – only 160mg. why? because i thought i had enough to get through wednesday but it turns out i just had enough to get TO wednesday. so my sour apple rockstar punched, which for reasons i’ve never understood isn’t sold anywhere in my part of the country, so i have to order them from amazon, is en route after having been ordered for the 145_th time (literally)…

yeah, that’s the good stuff.

in the past, when we had a notable absence of a few MONTHS, i had to accept it might be gone for good (thankfully it wasn’t!) and so i dabbled in this monstrous creation…

down side, it’s only 160mg of caffeine (vs 240 on the rockstar) but it comes in fifteen packs (vs 12) and the flavor is actually really good. but it was also a bit pricier, so when the tried and true came back around it was a no brainer to go back to it, but along the way i also discovered…

again, only at 160, but good flavor. the weird thing – i saw this online for months before i actually found one (literally, just one) in the cooler of the convenience store attached to the spot i get my tires did. i grabbed it for the ride into austin as i was (again) waiting on a rockstar shipment that day and liked the flavor, so when i needed one for today i went foraging at the circle k on the way home and again, found a single in the case and grabbed it. kinda odd the two times i went looking for it i found a lonely single each time, but so it goes. hopefully it gives me front brake job energy…the rockstars should be here today!
