completely random shit (but at least it’s a short bit?)

it’s random as fuck, but was when a minor character was asked about recurring nightmares and she described something to the effect of being trapped in a fotomat that keeps spitting out pictures of you but they’re all over exposed and you keep trying to scream but you can’t because leprechauns are dancing on your tongue.

for all those readers who’s birth year stars with a “2”, we didn’t all used to have cell phones and for about a decade some of us had them but they were quite literally just “phones”, in another words they made “phone calls” – no internet (didn’t exist), no social media (that was people magazine, rolling stone, etc), and they didn’t have cameras attached, let alone built into the actual device. you used an actual camera and actual film which means you had to wait for the results, and the quickest (and cheapest) way to get them the same day (which was a modern miracle at the time) was to drive-thru a place like this…

so now you know what a fotomat is…moving on…

that’s how i’ve been feeling about my physical health and life in general lately. i can’t accept my current condition as any kind of “new normal”, but i also can’t figure out how to fix it, which as a life long “problem solver” drives me a bit mad as i’ve always figured out a fix (or acceptable work around) for anything life’s thrown at me, but now can’t do it with what is arguably the most important factor, my health and mobility? what daphuk?

so that’s where my head’s at tonight…still searching for the elusive fix to the problem of not wanting to be crippled anymore.
