let the exodus begin!

when i was growing up there was a series of commercials that all ended with the same ominous line…

“if you don’t get help at charter, please…get help somewhere

while folks talk about the opioid epidemic, and the obesity epidemic, nobody talks about the real oh shit epidemic that’s doing more harm globally than the other two, and then some, combined…

the delivery van i drive is kept in what is, shall we say, a very conservative part of town. it shouldn’t be. it’s by the lake. it should be drunken boat shenanigans, and really is, but more from the wealthy pink polo wearing rich kids we were all taught to hate in our 80’s movies than the fun bunch of rag-tag losers we were taught to cheer for in them. but the 80’s were forty years ago – these folks are in their fifties and sixties now. and they grew up rich. and we all know who they voted for in the last three elections. and we all know how those people can get…

just peaceful protestors my ass. anywho, i was really surprised with a billboard i saw as i was leaving lakeway yesterday…

“Having Doubts? You’re Not Alone…And We Can Help. Visit Our Website Today”

and the site? www.leavingmaga.org

personally, i think that’s awesome. some folks that were in now see it for the brain-washing cult that it is and are helping their own out! there’s hope for your uncle yet! maybe soon more families can be thankful to see everyone at thanksgiving again. there’s the real red hat – make holidays festive again!
