cubist concerns

so, the header on this bit represents my favorite ice cube solo album…

…it was his third solo release, called “the predator”.

i saw him on that tour, and got to speak very briefly to him.

“great show, cube…”

“thanks, man…”

but i didn’t get a shirt because i was too broke. as i’ve mentioned, i’ve been on a mini quest to right some of these wrongs and acquire reprints of shirts from tours i did actually go to, inspired by seeing reprints of shirts i bought at shows at places like hot topic and shit. while the cube one doesn’t have dates on it, as i recall the ones at the show didn’t, either. but it does have a cool version of the album graphic i have on a poster from back then, and the back his logo and below it says, “the predator”…

…which is where my current issue arises.

with all the pedo bullshit these days, i don’t know how i feel being a fifty-something year old white guy walking around in a shirt that says “predator” on it and going to grocery stores. seems a little off putting, given all the epstein shit…am i reading too much into this?
