so, the other day i did a thing…

actually, i guess on a technical level i didn’t do anything other than sit and take it…for three and a half hours. not a record by any stretch (that would be six and a half hours for me) but the last fifteen, which were that background grey, were particularly harsh. the tattoo was done sunday night, and by wednesday my skin on the background made it’s displeasure known:

while i highly doubt the “i word” comes into play here (infection), it’s clearly an irritation, a hard scab forming, or possibly an allergic reaction (listed in order of probability from where i’m sitting). it’s been so long since i’ve had an issue with a tattoo it through me off. for anyone curious it’s a santa muerte piece. feel free to check the link out – i read it while i got the thing done!
