i would be TOTALLY lying if i said i was proud of that title…

…but it fits.

the ufc is coming up on one of her least favorite times of the year – my birthday. she doesn’t dislike it for cruel reasons, but rather because i can be notoriously hard to shop for. if i see something i was, barring it being at a price point she wouldn’t want to spend either, i tend to just buy it. she rarely hears, “i really want [fill in item here], i’ll have to figure out how to make that happen..” instead she hears, “hey, check this out” as i show her what i just acquired, or she just sees shit show up at the house.

oddly enough, i have no problem shopping for me.

yesterday i ticked another band off the “list of bands i’ve never seen but really shoulda”…or at least, i started the process. a ticket has been ordered. metallica will be seen a few days before my birfmas. and honestly, i like trujillo on bass a lot more than newstead, so the wait will probably be worth it for me. i just need to listen to the new album a few more times to get re-acquainted with it.
