you can’t keep a big thing out of the big apple…

and this especially applies to the big gulp!

after a few convenience stores and movie theaters (who live off the tub o’ soda) sued over nyc’s new rule that sodas couldn’t be more than sixteen ounces the new york supreme court ruled that such a rule was bullshit freeing new yorkers to purge out on ridiculous levels of high fructose corn syrup once again!

(ironically the ban was overturned because it was soda specific, while some of the starbucks shit that has as much sugar as dairy queen deserts and a metric fuck ton more than sodas were excluded from the ban due to their size, not dietary content – so for once starbucks ridiculousness did some good!)
