friday bit of randomness

so, it’s friday, i’m broke, and the shop is dead as fuck…

…on the up side, i realized i needed to do a new bit.

so here we are.

it’s been a while since i’ve done a live, stream-of-consciousness kind of bit, and since it’s one of few things i can afford tonight (’cause it’s free and shit) we’ll make that happen. i have some shit on my phone i’ve meant to use forever, like this one:

so the big news this week was death – first was paul walker from the fast and the furious series of films dying (ironically) in a car wreck:

a buddy brought up the fact that the forty year old had a twenty-three year old girlfriend and that they’d been together for seven years, hooking up when he was thirty-three and she was sixteen. while that’s fucked up on lots of levels, it’s NOT fucked up on the legal tip ’cause they were in hawaii where the legal age is sixteen (thought that shit was just in arkansas, didn’t you?).

and then came the big one – nelson mandela…which despite what most of you thought when you saw the face on the news, is NOT morgan freeman. the upside to losing this political icon? he lived almost DOUBLE the life expectancy for that part of the world and did a chunk of it in jail…wonder if they’ll publish his secret?
