i don’t recall seeing it on MY calendar…

so, today is a once in a lifetime thing…

…it’s 11-11-11.

which according to vh1 classic, one of the stations i watch most religiously, it’s “national metal day”. what’s funny is the only place i’ve seen this referenced is on vh1 classic. i think they just want an excuse to show lots of crue, priest, maiden, ozzy, sabbath, and what-not.

that works for me!

lots of movies and even product trailers (new motorola razr, i’m looking at you) have played up the repetition of the day as well.

for me? i think it’ll just be another boring friday for me…work (hopefully actually have some customers and make some money this time), come home, sleep very little, work very much (saturday’s a fourteen plus hour day for me), come home, sleep very little, etc, etc, etc…

…in other words, for me – a typical weekend. not very fucking metal of me, is it?
