i wanna get away, i wanna fly away…

i thought this would be an easy, fun bit to do…

…but now i’m wondering how far the fear goes.

it doesn’t exist here.

part of my frustration with out current administration, or regime, to use the term more appropriately, is not just what agent orange is up to, but the fact that everyone just fucking lets him do it. having the diaper filling fucktard in our feed every other entry isn’t bad enough, but the other entries are about how the members of the other branches, which exist for that whole “checks and balances” thing are just rolling over and letting him stomp on whomever he chooses no matter how detached from reality it may be.

so, when i saw a fun post on the feed of a woman i grew up with, i decided to give it a shot. it simply said, that if you booked a flight from palm beach, florida (who recently renamed their airport after our current white house resident) to sioux city, iowa (i assume one might do that this time of year to escape heat or hurricanes or, as i would, said white house resident being in town) your ticket would read “DJT – SUX”, which is just good comedy.

so i tried it on the southwest app last night to get you a screen shot, but neither airport showed up in their list.

so this morning i googled which airlines flew out of palm beach, and while southwest made the list (?!?) so did american, so i checked their site. while i’d like to congratulate them on their 100th anniversary, and thank them for keeping my girl leia employed, they didn’t show any flights. moving on to the next airline i could recall (i’d closed the window) i hit united airlines…

but what’s funny is, if you look at the bottom of the screenshot, it says they’ll show me airports NEAR palm beach, and proceed to show a bunch of flights where the departure airport is “near” DJT, and it’s all flights from “PBI”…

why’s that funny? because “PBI” stands for “Palm Beach International”, the name of the airport for lo these many years, before suck up desantis renamed it in an ever evolving list of ways he’s trying to jam his tongue further up the president’s ass. so “PBI” isn’t near “DJT”, it IS “DJT”, but by doing that your ticket won’t say “DJT-SUX”, but rather “PBI-SUX” even though it means the same thing.

coincidence? i really fuckin’ doubt it.

i swear they will to any length to protect that octogenarian child’s fragile ego…
