rockstar returns!

i don’t know if i did this or not, but i’ll take the “W”…

…i know it couldn’t have hurt.

a while back, ME talked me into “social shaming” direct tv, which did get a fairly quick response up front, but the follow through was non-existent. that’s still ongoing, with me wanting them to cancel the $500+ “debt” from two months of service i didn’t use after they bumped my monthly by over a hundred bucks. we’re kind of at a stand-off on that one.

but after the long drought of rockstar energy drinks (since december!), i decided to shoot for that one so i did a post with one i got via amazon third party sellers ($45 for a twelve pack vs the usual $23) and talked up the drink, tagged the company, and said, “now bring back the $#@! flavor!”, complete with yosemite sam style expletives instead of my usual colorful language, and it ran on all the meta platforms (facebook, insta, & threads, which i’m not sure why that’s even still around) but then remembered that twitter had gotten the response before, albeit lackluster, so later that night i cut and pasted the post there.

that was four days ago. two days later the official rockstar twitter account liked my post, and two days after that i was able to buy it again on amazon for under $25. coincidence or motherfucking charm? you decide…

(side note – can you believe today makes a whole decade we’ve been without prince?)
