tropical (storm) tuesday

so, i get to spend my morning trying to screw in sheet rock that got some water damage…

…in the hopes that it’ll prevent it from falling on our cars!

there’s also some branches that need to be taken apart, but all in all we didn’t fare too bad with harvey at my place. the two leaks i fixed in the roof held, and while some new ones sprung up i can no tackle those with a rain-free forecast for a while. shane’s place got it worse (but is still standing and nobody got hurt) and everybody i know personally in houston seems to have done okay (albeit invaded by no less than FIFTEEN relatives in one case).
