two dudes, one roof (but SEVERAL cups of ink)

applause, applause – something happened today that, surprising, has never happened before…

…me, and shane, both got tattooed at the same shop at the same time.

surprisingly this has never happened.

he got some color fill on a sleeve, and i got my second side piece filled in, i believe, cap off my spring ink for 2kXI – no more till AFTER the summer, when i’m done with swimming and tubing and what-not. of course, i say this every year and barely go. hopefully this year will be different. but for now, that’s the plan. and as this is being written at 10:45 in the p-m after a hectic-ass work day (six hours work in three and half hours) followed by three rounds of ink, followed by several rounds of free booze (thanks to management, no bar name given so the hook-up can keep flowin’) then back to the house to undo the most painful part of a tattoo for me (which is the surgical tape they use to wrap you up with – i inherited that from my Mom) and then i got dragged out to ANOTHER bar with good burgers (i didn’t partake being still full from the mexican food place in austin) and cold beer (that i sadly DID partake in) where we were told they would turn on the a/c since there was more than one white person in the bar (see what being a minority in the united states of obamica can get you?) and they we drank by the light of the easter tree…

…and this is before all the REAL hectic shit in my world starts. good-night, everybody!
