the end of my latina lovin’?

this is being written, in part, ’cause i don’t know how i’ll feel after all the st. patrick’s day festivities…

…and partially ’cause i just don’t get it.

love me some latinas. very little about the female part of latin culture i don’t get. but the thing i really, really, REALLY don’t get? what their men do, i assume, in the name of attracting them. some of the belts and hats have confused me. as have the shirts. then the boots came around – usually obnoxious colored, and REALLY pointed. i would gather the extra point at the end was to give the illusion they had bigger feet in order to hint something else was bigger? well, now i think they’ve gone too far:

like i said – we all know i love me some latinas, and i love me some shoes, but if i have to wear shoes like THIS to score a latin girl now-a-days, i think it’s time to switch back to white women…
