taking it in the ass…one gallon at a time

i drive around a lot for work…

…which is why i piss and moan about gas prices so much. a year ago it was around $2.69 a gallon, now it’s eighty cents more – which translates into (about) and extra ten bucks a tank, which is twenty a week, or eighty a month. as tight as my budget is, that’s a big hit.

this article made it make a bit more sense, but i still think it’s all bullshit and they big oil folks are just trying to push their profits. my prediction is that we see a dip in prices come mid-april, when the oil folk have tabulated (and somewhat pacified) by their profit margin after fucking us for most of february and all of march.

let’s see if i’m right here…of course, if the buzz around the interwebs is right things are about to get a lot shittier over there tomorrow.
