the cursed rotation

in a way i should NOT bitch about this…

…but i still will. at least a little.

i guess it’s just luck of the draw, but EVERY FUCKING BANK HOLIDAY falls during a week i’m supposed to get the ol’ unemployment check. every time. this week, it’s president’s day. go back a couple payments and it was m.l.k. day. couple before that new years. or xmas. or arbor day. or whatever the fuck.

now, there are others that don’t GET unemployment, even though they should, and so in that respect i should be happy i’m at least getting a lil’ somethin’ somethin’ to help with the bills and shit. but every damn bank holiday hits me? seriously? scanning my calendar forward i seem to be in the clear…until the NEXT bank holiday, which ain’t till end of may (memorial day) and i just HAVE to have a full-time job by then, right?!?!?

(of course, i was saying the same thing about my juneteenth b-day LAST year, and we see how that shit worked out…)
