havana nights (juneteenth remembered, part i)

i can’t believe i neglected to do this earlier…

…but with so much of the page being written weeks before it posts i mentioned my birthday but never reviewed this place…

whenever i stay in san antonio, this is where you can find me. the place was cool, the bar in the basement encourages cigar smoking, and the staff was friendly. we had a great time in a great suite and broke my ten year streak of NOT getting any on my birthday all at the same time! it’s on the riverwalk, but on the WAY south end so all the bar and restaurant noise (and crowds) are about a fifteen minute walk away…which for me (the guy that won’t stay on the strip in vegas due to the crowds) is a good thing. highly recommended.
