why blow up stuff when you can blow money?

this is kinda cool and really stupid all at the same time…


it’s a watch, clocking in at $300K, that is in part made from salvaged metal from the titanic…which i didn’t know you could mine for watch parts.

so, other than a chunk of the most famous meritime disaster in history what does your $300K get you? i’m not sure…but i’ll tell you what it DOESN’T get you…

…the time.

that’s right – this watch, worth three times (give or take) the value of my home looks cool, comes from scrap metal, and doesn’t tell you the time. it does, however, tell you if it’s night or day. the way i see it (pardon the pun) if you’re stupid enough to drop three hundred large on a watch that won’t tell you it’s 12:57 pm, you’re probably stupid enough to not know light from dark.

that’s my theory, and i’m sticking to it.
