every now and again, prayer works

i’m not a religious man…

…but i went to sleep praying on saturday night (sunday morning, technically). surprisingly it wasn’t for one of the three p’s (power, paycheck, or pussy) – it was for the LACK of a tow truck that would pick up an abandoned vehicle in the wee hours.

and my prayer’s were answered “yes”.

my drive home saturday started a bit later than i wanted, then was delayed further by a collision-inspired detour, but then closer to home in the rural area around town i saw an odd sight…a cop, looking at a vehicle, with just his headlights on, and nobody else. as i rolled by i SWORE the shoe polish on the windows (which is usually to celebrate birthdays, graduations, etc) said something more like “slutty whore” or words to that effect. it was only the next morning i got a good look at this beast…

the word cropped out on the left is “slut” in addition to the words “hoe” and “bitch”. if you look at my red arrows you’ll notice that the tires are slashed (all four of ’em) and the side mirrors have been knocked off…i just wonder if she happened to break down and this happened or if she drove it a bit. something tells me the story behind this is pretty nuts…and probably involves booze, a guy who cheated, and a girl we know as…

i guess she’ll blow ya for blow? windshield had a similar caption, similar size, ‘cept tried to use a hybrid of “hoe” and “whore” spelled out as “hore”. or it was supposed to be a “horse” reference and they left off the “s”. there were horses just across the street from this, but they wouldn’t tell me what happened (yes, i did ask). notice the tail-gate was also keyed…this continued around to the side a bit. brutal.

something tells me this fits the person that DID the damage more than the person that RECEIVED the damage, but that could just be me. notice (again, with my helpful red arrows) that not only did she get the vandalism, she also got “red tagged” by the police – move it within forty-eight hours or they’ll move it for you…

…so, anybody know the story behind this? i’m reeeeeeeeeallly curious!
