holiday dullness (a flashback)

…not literally, of course.

no, but one thing i’ve been figuring out about myself – when i start to get lonely (or horny, or a bit of both) around the holidays i fear i become the human embodiment of my dog copper, who is known for being forceably social…and women don’t dig that. at least, sane ones don’t (which i don’t tend to attract those, but never mind that now) so as a result i have made a decision – for the rest of the holiday weekend, i’m off the womenfolk.

(this is not some side door way of me planning on being gay – think more like morrissey, circa 1988, but without the leanings, the elvis hair, the fist fulls of flowers, or the talent…)

come monday, i’ll go back to normal – but i think i need to take some time off. if one of the fairer sex happens to contact me, that’s all good – i’m just not making any more “first moves” as it were for the remainder of the weekend. got plenty of house shit to do, cd’s to rip, and ufc somewhere (the theater here got sold so that party went away, unfortunately) on saturday, so i should be fine.

time will tell…

so, reach me if you wanna – but i’m doing radio silence on my end for a few days…and something tells me at least one or two readers are gonna be happy about that…
