okay, now that november is behind us

so, november was a bit of a motherfucker…

…health-wise. for both of us.

my hip flexor thing is getting me to a physical therapist tomorrow at the behest (and expense) of the young lady that owns the tattoo supply company i’ve been predominantly working for. i’ve always postulated that this all kicked off in 2018 when i pulled/strained/hurt part of my left quad, and i only know the date because the same day i hobbled in the shop, grabbed some car parts, and worked on a mercedes which is on my instagram from the day i did it. BUT, in a recent conversation i was reminded that i had my leg act a fool when i was walking thru downtown austin to get a pic of a tie fighter that didn’t happen, but that was actually in 2016…

and while the pain hasn’t been constant since then (or even 2018) it’s definitely making its presence known now!

then there’s the wife…

early in the month she had her third surgical visit of the year, this time encompassing two surgeons and four procedures across seven hours. she’s really doing well and on the mend, but there are still some limitations. for her privacy i won’t go into all that went down, but it wasn’t cosmetic or anything. on the plus side, all was free due to the previous two (and then some) spending all her health insurance for the year (not due to some punch card or anything, all three have been at different spots, and this was the first full blown hospital one).
