ghetto tint?!? (a flashback)

so, there SHOULD be a sixer here…

…but i ate thai food yesterday. which made me gassy. which made a friend of mine roll down the window on my car, and as you can’t drive a convertible with the windows down and the top UP, we put it all down and rolled around in the pretty afternoon weather yesterday, but when we got where we were going his window went up, the top went up, and then my window didn’t do SHIT. fifteen months ago it did this, and i bought the part, but never put it in ’cause it started working again and putting it in appeared to be a pain in the ass. well, since i got lazy last night i got to deal with this:

two trash bags and half a roll of duct tape later it got me through austin, just not OUT of austin. so for the coldest twenty-five miles of me getting home last night (38F, for all curious) i had the top and both windows down.

in a word, “brrrrrr”.

still not dealt with – the morning was too rushed. it’s SUPPOSED to stay warmer today (low tonight’s in the 60’s) so we’ll see if i can hold off till tuesday when i have some free time. if not it might need to be tomorrow morning…but yeah, dealing with this kinda killed my writing mood AND time.
