drippy drippy

i’ll be curious to see what the wifey thinks…

…but i swear yesterday jacked with our water pressure. so far it just seems to be the master bath, which only effects me, but it still kinda sucks.

i noticed when i went and got dinner thursday night there was a puddle in front of the house at the base of the driveway, but we hadn’t had any rain in a bit. i just kinda wrote it off, went and got our food, came home, and that was all she wrote. the next morning after my “morning constitutional” i flushed but the water was lightly tinted brown (the “fresh water” out of the tank, that is – no “remainders”) so i flushed again and it got DARKER. slowly got worse with each flush, so i just warned nik not to let the dogs drink out of the toilet and walked outside to leave for work, only to hear what sounded like a slightly distant babbling brook and…

what you don’t notice is the water is pushing a whole lot of caliche to the surface. that’s leftover from when they had to do the sewer pipe and left it unpaved for four months – i don’t plan on letting them go nearly that long this time. the silt is now filling the width of my driveway after a day of this bullshit…

no additional paving, and water of questionable pressure in my shower. oh sure, just ’cause last month we finally got the bill discrepancy settled, this month we gotta deal with this bullshit…
