they talk about “long CoVid”…
…as in the version of the sickness that sticks with you, in part, for quite some time.
but what about the lifestyle effects of said pandemic? i have to admit, when it was all happening, it felt perfectly normal to come home from the store all excited talking about, “today they had the pepsi with the REAL SUGAR”, or “check it out – they had the good toilet paper today!”.
product availability and life stuff we were, quite honestly, used to having day in and day out suddenly felt “special” and like a treat. during the “CoVid times”, as i have come to refer to them, this was what we got used to. but it’s not supposed to be the “new normal”, is it? five years later, why do the supply chains refuse to link back up properly?
i never thought that here, in the good ol’ u.s. of a. we’d have a point where, half a decade later, we’d still be stoked when they had the “good fabric softener” or whatever but here we are. you wanna focus that governmental energy properly? here’s a hint – 98% of us could give a fuck what genitalia the college track star was born with…but the price and availability of milk is a different story. how’s about you focus more on THAT shit?
