“it’s on the internet, so it has to be true” – someone who has clearly not been on the internet too often
i don’t mean to do two bits, both starting with random quotes, about political bullshit, but here we are. my only guess on this is with all the clusterfuckery (just added that word to my browsers dictionary) that’s going on these days the texas republicans wanted to brag they passed SOMETHING positive. addressed some pressing issues that strikes at the pulse of our culture and provides a lifestyle improvement we can all get behind. to make sure it’ll be universally embraced, let’s have it help a group of our society that EVERYONE likes to help out – school children!
so did we give them steps to a better education through an improved curriculum? why you gotta use such big words?
helped combat bullying in schools? like it’s the government’s fault your kid is such a pussy?
funneled money away from football stadium scoreboard improvements to help buy laptops for disadvantaged kids? bitch, this is texas – we life off the “five F’s” here: Firearms, Football, Faith, Family, and FUCK YOU if you don’t have these priorities.
nope – we passed a bill that forces all texas students to identify as humans so we can stop having litter boxes in classrooms for kids that try to identify as cats or other animals.
yes, the legislation is real.
but the behavior it seeks to ban is not. it’s just total internet bullshit. i used to wonder how an entire political party, and their followers, a really decent chunk of our country, could believe that there was an entire political party that wanted to drink children’s blood to prolong their youth and worship satan while doing so and all that other bullshit and then it came to me in four simple words…
THEY’RE JUST FUCKING IDIOTS
and now they’re in power. so now we get to find out the answer to the question, “how bad could it really get?”
