at every turn, apparently

apparently every little thing i try and do for the new ride is gonna come with a surprise…

…this is the latest one:

no, there’s nothing in front of the car. because i didn’t wanna drill my plate, i used a tow hook mount for the new plates, and it blocked one of the parking sensors, resulting in THIS. more fun? when i went to touch the parking sensor it wasn’t connected to the bumper quite right and fell IN TO THE BUMPER, so now it always detects the inside of the bumper and…well…

so i guess now i have to get up in the bumper (i did it from above for the grills, but i don’t think that’ll work here) and relocate the sensor? i’ll probably go lower so it can tell me when a parking block’s a’ coming…
