america’s wang demands more!

i learned something this last major election cycle…

…and not about this becoming reality. i knew that a while back.

no, this was about florida. apparently majority doesn’t rule there – SUPER majority does. that means two thirds, or damn near it. if something doesn’t get SIXTY percent support it doesn’t pass, even if it technically “won” the popular vote.

for example, in this last election the two biggest ballot initiatives were about weed being legal recreationally and abortion being legal after the six week line. both passed if you play by NORMAL rules. but this is florida, baby! so while they “passed” 56% vs 44% and 57% to 43% respectively, they didn’t pass thanks to the sixty percent rule.

who knew that was a fucking thing?

odd that both end up failing that way when they’re kinda against ron boy’s agenda, huh? wonder if he repeals the sixty thing when it works AGAINST one of his own?
