give credit where it’s due

so, i will assume it goes without saying that i’m not exactly what you’d call a “maga person”…

but “game recognize game”, as they say.

my new gig has me out in the really rich, really white section of the austin area known as lakeway, texas. it is just hair over fifty two miles each way to my new “parking space”, but it’s predominantly low traffic and really pretty. i also think it has the most of these, per capita, in the nation:

there is also a ridiculous amount of trump shit on the side of the road. like, enough that it scared me to hear he was gonna be on rogan on friday because rogan lives out in that area and if he sees this amount of signage the narcissistic bastard just might move here and FUCK all that. but the signs, which i don’t have pictures of due to the main thoroughfare being a 60mph highway, are pretty epic. most are blue, not red, and are probably around six by four FEET in size. they contain such (unlikely) groups as “immigrants for trump”, which was followed by the hashtag “#wallsnotwalz”, which regardless of whether i voted for that guy’s side or not, that’s just funny.

then there’s the one strategically placed on the road near a junior high school that reads “keep balls out of women’s sports” which i get the meaning behind, but that’s gonna make sports like volleyBALL and basketBALL and softBALL pretty damn difficult, but maybe they know some work around i don’t?
