involuntary, but necessary

that’s how i describe my current job situation…

…to say the least, it’s odd.

sparing you some details, the phrase i’ve used a lot is “if someone wants to break up with you, they’ll find a reason”. and as a result, i started a new gig today. details to follow once i feel some stuff out, but all seems to be good with it. the first day, which was in hindsight a shit ton of work, didn’t seem like work. reminded me a lot of my old star tickets days, but in all the right ways.
