but will i get covered in truck lint?

so, the other day i was rolling from our south shop to our burnet road shop when i saw this on i-35…

and while it’s not uncommon to see a truck in texas with dual exhaust, and even with dual exhaust that is huge, and even with dual exhaust that is huge AND sticking up like semi stacks, the tops here were a little…off.

and while that’s the closest shot i got, the angle for what i’m trying to point out is better seen here:

guess that’s actually pretty similar. but if you look you can tell those tips AREN’T car parts. i mean, why drop the coin on proper tips when you can drop ten bucks a side at home depot? but does it give your exhaust that fresh laundry day smell? i never got close enough to find out!
