whiskey wednesday i – shelby edition (2023)

we’ll kick off this first whiskey wednesday with the one that has become my “standard” of late…

bushmill’s “prohibition recipe”, which is tied in with the netflix peaky blinders series. i’m 99.9% sure i’ve brought up this hooch before, but as it’s been my standard of late i figure i’d kick off with it. it’s from the good folks at bushmill’s (in my opinion, the “coke” in the “coke v pepsi” irish edition, which would be “bushmill’s v jameson) but it’s bottled at 92 proof (vs the standard 80) with a great woodsy flavor and slight after burn that gets smoother as you keep going. highly recommended!
