as it’s been often said…
…all good things must come to an end. and so it goes with five dollar mexican martini night. just in time for me to diet for real!
yes, i got it on good authority that the five dollar discount drink from hell (it’s not quite as strong as they like to make it out to be…it’s basically two and some change house margaritas in a shaker) goes up to seven bucks next week, which if you’re an analytic alcoholic like myself you start to do the math:
mexi-mart retail: $10
mexi-mart HH: $8
mexi-mart NEW monday: $7
now, a house rita is typically $4 during happy hour, $5 otherwise…which means that the mexi-mart is still cheaper, but not by ENOUGH to justify saving a couple bucks and getting cut off at two (house rules) versus just drinking regular house ritas, which do not have a preset limit, and therefore you can keep going and going and…
…i’m putting WAY too much thought into this, aren’t i? does that signify i have some kind of problem or something?

it’s only a problem if you think it’s a problem, hell, I know I can quite anytime I want…
i don’t think it’s a problem, especially with you having that fifteen year chip and all…now, with me, typing this from the actual bar of trudy’s (god bless sprint and, more importantly, the bartender that charged me for one round instead of two) i know i personally am cool…but i did confirm as of next week a mexi-mart will be seven bucks, where as two house ritas will be eight, so you save a DOLLAR but have booze restrictions…and booze restrictions are for pacifists, communists, and women who won’t swallow…and i don’t wanna have ANYTHING to do with any of those three…
